I have sold items on the phone before, working in a boiler room operation. Now I have an idea that many people are concerned about the dollar loses value, and would like a hedge against inflation with investments in gold or silver coins. I do not know how to begin. I do not know what licenses are required in California. Also, I would like to work from home, either as a contractor for a broker-dealer, or myself. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Ken

Anyone can become a seller of gold or silver, but to do it professionally you must have a death wish or can afford to lose what most people call a very large sum. It is not glamorous work you might think. You will be the target of thieves, crooks, conspirators, and the tax department (Sorry if you think that might have mentioned already). You have to spend thousands on security mega, advertising and any insurance for a gain of $ 50 per thousand dollars expended.
